The arrangement of the peaks of the Hudson Highlands is slightly exaggerated, but after a pleasant stay in this area, you may find the views just as impressive as the artist has rendered them.

WOW!! Is this a scenario city??

Great village!

This station puts you close to a lovely little town that is just so picturesque. Many people get off here on weekends during this time to go hiking on one of their many trials. Nothing spectacular about the stop itself, like many other stops along the route on the metro north. Get off here if you're looking for a little break from the city. I will definitely return but earlier in the day, now that it gets dark quicker.

Cold springs is a nice little town to visit, especially after coming down BreakNeck ridge.

I pass here a couple times a year, doing hikes and cycling through it...

Nice atmosphere. Great forest. Needs a more obvious information point

Painted by Johann Hermann Carmiencke (1810-1867). This is a gorgeous work showing the Appalachian Mountains passing through the Hudson River Valley.

What appears a rather bucolic scene was already a center of the first great armaments center in America, tightly linked with the Military Academy just across the River.

Every time I was amazed with what i saw... During weekends (summer) there is a lot of activity around....
